Are you looking for an affordable table tennis racket to one-up your game? Do you think you are ready to move to the next level of your table tennis career with a suitable ITTF Approved paddle?
Palio Legend 2.0 table tennis racket is known for its compatibility and functionality among beginner-intermediate to intermediate players. To be honest, I adore the Legend 2; it’s a terrific paddle that feels quite high-end.
With this paddle, I’m able to hit shots that make me happy. For a fraction of the price I would have paid to make it myself, this paddle feels like it was custom built and fitted to my shooting style.
It came as a pleasant surprise because the sponge is still soft enough for my defensive approach. Right now, I’m working on the offensive, and the ball flies low, quick, and with a lot of spins as long as my form is proper.
If you’re using a prefabricated bat and want to step up your game by focusing on offense, this paddle is a great option, especially given the price. The new and updated Palio Legend 2 bat is ideal for players who want to get the most power out of their strokes.
It’s a somewhat heavier bat that will give your shots a lot of speed and spin. It’s best for advanced players who already have good feel and control and are searching for a bat that will help them maximize their inherent abilities.
Palio Hadou rubbers are ITTF approved and contain a harder sponge, which is typical of high-level Chinese rubbers and suits an all-out attack strategy. The harder sponge allows for massive amounts of spin and speed to be generated, but it also reduces control.
The Palio x ETT Legend 2 blade is made entirely of wood and has been modified to increase quality and feel. It has a flared grip that is exceedingly pleasant to hold and works well with Hadou rubbers.
It’s built of a stronger wood to increase power, making the Palio Legend a lightning-quick combo. A complimentary Palio bat case is also supplied to keep the rubbers clean and protect the bat.

Pros/Features of Palio Legend 2.0 –
1. Accelerated Turbo-Speed:
The Palio Legend 2 has a lot of speed. It’s one of the quickest paddles we’ve ever used. The blade is made up of five layers of heavier plywood and weighs a little more than most of its competitors (about 190 grams), but it packs a punch.
The combination of blade and rubber determines the speed of a racket. The Legend 2 blade was created to deliver maximum power, and it delivers. It’s an extremely strong blade that transfers energy directly into the ball.
Palio Hadou rubbers are more durable and faster than CJ8000 Table Tennis Paddle Rubbers. This one is probably not for you if you haven’t mastered a strong basic technique or are looking for something a little slower.
The Legend 2 could be just what you’re searching for if you want a fast racket that will give your loops that extra kick.

2. Feasible ITTF-Approved Palio Hadou Rubbers:
Palio Hadou rubbers are used on both sides of the Legend 2, which is a high-quality Chinese rubber that has been approved by the ITTF for use in official events.
The rubbers rest on a layer of 2.00mm firm sponge, which means the ball doesn’t slow down as much when you hit it, allowing you to hit it faster (and less control).
They’re also really tacky, allowing you to generate a lot of spins, which is extremely popular among Chinese players. Brush the ball rather than allowing it to make complete contact with the paddle when you smash it.
If you’ve tried the DHS Hurricane 3 TT Paddle Rubbers before, it has a similar tackiness. You can also replace the rubbers on this bat when they wear out, which is convenient, but you shouldn’t need to do it very frequently if you clean them and keep them in a paddle case.
3. Impressive Grip and Spin:
All of the Palio x ETT rackets have amazing spin, but the Legend 2 stands out thanks to the incredible Hadou rubbers. Tacky rubbers with firm sponges are commonly used by elite Chinese table tennis players.
By brushing the ball with the top sheet instead of allowing it to sink too far into the sponge, you may generate maximum spin on your serves and strokes. This is exactly what you can achieve with the Palio Hadou rubbers.
They are heavier and tougher than CJ8000 and will allow you to brush the ball to apply heavy spin. Of course, you must have mastered the “brushing” action on your strokes and serves for this to work.
This is when all of your hours of practice will pay off. The Palio Legend 2.0 is equipped with a flared handle. This is the perfect handle for anyone who uses the Shakehand grip.
All of Palio’s pre-built paddles feature a flared handle, which gives excellent comfort to players. A flared handle is ideal for Shakehand grip users who frequently use the forehand.
This handle is ideal for Legend 2.0’s attacking nature. This grip is ergonomic, with the primary purpose being comfort and performance.

CONS of Palio Legend 2.0 Table Tennis Racket –
Out of speed, spin, and control, this racket’s weakness is control. At the same moment, you can’t have a maximum speed, maximum spin, and maximum control. It’s always a trade-off between them to some level.
As a result, it will not be ideal for total beginners. It’s a powerful bat, and if you don’t know how to use it, you’ll have trouble getting the ball to go where you want it to go.
When the ball makes contact with the blade, it will ping off and travel far further than you anticipated. Incoming shots are far more likely to “ping” off your racket due to the blade’s speed.
To manage them and block them back with delicate hands, you’ll need a good sense of touch and sensation. You should only use a bat with such a low control rating once you start to develop your game and get better at controlling the ball and hitting it where you want it to go.
FAQs
Is Stiga Pro Carbon better than Legend 2.0?
In comparison, the Stiga Pro Carbon Table Tennis Paddle is a lighter, more controllable paddle. I’ve used the Stiga Evolution, Stiga Pro Carbon, and Palio Legend II, and the Palio Legend II is by far the most powerful and gripping of the three.
Although the Palio Legend II is a little heavier and springs a little more than the Pro Carbon, the Palio’s power is immediately apparent. It spins quickly and produces a lot of spins.
When blocking with this paddle, you must be extremely cautious because the ball can easily go off the table. So far, my favorite premade racket is the Palio Legend II.
Is the control very low for this paddle?
To become accustomed to racket reaction, the player must practice. This is a professional-level paddle that is extremely bouncy for speed. P doesn’t believe that control is an issue.
Rather, I believe that a beginner should start with this type of paddle to obtain a solid understanding of strength, angle, and other factors.
Would I Recommend Palio Legend 2.0 Table Tennis Racket?
This paddle has a lot to offer for a player who has some prior experience of handling a low control and higher speed racket. For the speed that the Palio Legend 2.0 delivers, it isn’t going to let you down.
If you’ve already polished your technique and mastered looping and serving, the Palio Legend 2 could be just what you need to take your game to the next level. This is the fastest and most spinny readymade table tennis racket I’ve seen.
Another feature to consider is that this paddle may be used with different rubbers. You can keep the high-quality blade after the rubbers have worn out and replace it with rubbers of your choosing.
This is a fantastic option for advanced players who have mastered control and want to add some serious speed and spin to their game.
Conclusion
The Palio Legend 2.0 is the updated version of a popular paddle. It’s incredibly rapid, and the ball bounces off the rubbers in a flash. Depending on your skill level, this may or may not be a good thing.
If you’re new to table tennis, I recommend getting a paddle with a better control rating than this one because it’s not as forgiving. You can check out the Butterfly Petr Korbel Table Tennis Blade for optimum/high-level control.
Then, when you’ve got a little better at putting the ball where you want it, you can upgrade to something like this. I like that it comes with a storage container, which will help the rubbers last longer. Overall, this is one of the top-quality pre-made rackets we’ve tested, and we give it our highest recommendation.
