3. Impressive Construction –

This STIGA Pro Carbon paddle is made out of ultra-lightweight balsa wood ply that helps in increasing speed and reaction time, making it one of the best rackets for abiding play.

Carbon Tech technology has a mixture of the highest elasticity in an extra-light rubber. As such, it can offer you superior acceleration, spin, and control.

The paddle is heavy, as STIGA added an unusual variety of rubber certified by ITTF to the surface. When the rubber worsens, you can discard and renew it.

The paddle design also features a slim layer with a thick, 2.0mm fabricated sponge matter beneath the rubber. The sponge matter gives it a catapult effect, which contributes to the paddle’s speed and power that aids you to score the ball harder, which will provide you with more spin.

The concave (flared) shaped handle has a metal pole inside it that causes it to be bulkier. This handle has two purposes- first, it provides a stable grip and presents the blade feel more steady.

Second, it supplies you more mass to hit the ball with, which causes it to go quicker.

4. High-Performance –

My review about STIGA Pro Carbon Review - Should you buy this table tennis paddle or not? BreadCity

STIGA built this table tennis blade to satisfy all your unique needs. It has a high rank of 80 for control, 99 for speed, and an imposing 100 for a spin.

The blade assists you produce the ideal ball spin you constantly desired without dissipating power.

5. Crystal Technology –

Most paddle companies utilize your everyday, run-of-the-mill varnishes to paint their rackets.

Stiga uses Crystal Technology to implement a hydrophilic gel varnish. Hydrophilic gels strengthen the exterior of the paddle to obtain an even surface faster.

6. NTC Technology –

Stiga uses a blend of nanotechnology and carbon-based adhesive to construct the racket. The potent formula means the Stiga Pro Carbon table tennis blade is not that great in the elasticity section.

The severe form helps improve speed and restricts the paddle from consuming much of the ball’s power. So the NTC technology is an advantage and a disadvantage as it is also why the ball loses control when it hits the table tennis table.

Pros and Cons of STIGA Pro Carbon –

PROS CONS
1. The STIGA Pro Carbon table tennis blade scores high in Speed (100) and Spin(98). It’s best suited for players who’re looking for a combination of power, spin, and control 1. The STIGA Pro Carbon has a control rating of 80. Lower control ratings suggest that you grapple to get the ball to go precisely where you want if you’re not experienced.
2. You can displace the rubber on this table tennis blade, so if they exhaust out and you demand to get any new ones, you can change them easily. 2. The handle and tips of the paddle can be slightly coarse. It might be necessary to sand the corners and handle a little, or it can create sores and blisters on the hand that grasps it.
3. The grip is dark, which bestows more appeal to it and makes it sleek. Slim and lightweight, granting you maximize your move with minimum exhaustion and maximum acceleration. 3. Defensive players who rely on finessing their spin to win will have difficulty controlling the ball with this table tennis racket. People who enjoy using techniques like backspin and chopping will be sorely disappointed.
4. Players who savor good feelings will be happy to hold this ping pong paddle in their hands. 4. It is not right in chopping stroke as the bat lacks control returning heavy spin balls from the opponent.
5. Both amateurs and seasoned players will perceive it to be a high-quality blade at a very affordable price. 5. This racket is not the best one for you, especially if you’re a new player.
6. The larger-than-average sweet spot presents this blade as simple to use for intermediate athletes. This blade is a potent weapon in the hands of a high-level attacking professional who is competent to command their hits.
7. The Stigma Pro Carbon blade is often perfect for casual play with a firm form from an esteemed producer. This strong paddle is designed to last and has the look and feel of a much more expensive paddle.

My honest Review –

The Stiga Pro Carbon provides you a wider ‘Sweet Spot’ during the match. It’s a perfect blade for attacking athletes who prefer looping or smashing as the broader sweet spot is also more forgiving than other paddles.

The more complex carbon helps you produce more spin and power on your returns. Out of the five premade blades Stiga has produced, I can say that the Pro Carbon and Evolution are the ones to consider.

The Pro Carbon supplies you with much better play, but I still think it requires chopping and creating a backspin. As it is so rigid, hitting with delicacy is pretty complicated.

The Stiga Pro Carbon is a decent bat and one to consider. But if you still want a better performance paddle, then one close alternative is the STIGA Royal 5 Star Carbon that I feel could be very similar.

If that’s a little over budget, I suggest trying out the Palio Master 3.0 blade, a lovely all-around blade. If you are looking for an advanced variant of the STIGA Pro Carbon, I recommend trying the STIGA Raptor ping pong paddle, which is essentially the Pro Carbon on speed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where are STIGA paddles made?

Eskilstuna, Sweden. All blades are manufactured onsite in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Thus, they can keep track of the process and ensure that the edges reflect the high quality that STIGA stands for.

Is there any cover free with the racket?

No, for the cover, you need to buy it separately. I recommend you buy a cover with this blade to protect the rubber and elongate its lifetime.

The Stiga S5 rubber on this paddle can easily be damaged by dust and dirt or even moisture from the atmosphere; thus, a cover is necessary.

Does the racket come with the rubber?

The rubbers on both sides of the STIGA Pro Carbon table tennis racket are the STIGA S5 rubber which uses built with the new Nano Composite and ACS Technology of Stiga.

STIGA Pro Carbon blade has ITTF certified rubber. offers you the opportunity to grasp your tricks and go around playing professionally.

The rubber for this paddle is S5 68-016, but I cannot find this rubber anywhere to buy. What if I want to stick with the same rubber?

Unfortunately, this rubber is not available to be purchased separately from this racket. However, if you are looking for a replacement rubber with similar qualities, the Yasaka Mark V would be a great option for this blade.

CONCLUSION –

This paddle is not for everyone. STIGA Pro Carbon comes with impeccable speed and lightweight construction that promise to minimize fatigue and bump up your offensive play.

Of course, it’s not the perfect paddle. A lack of control and finesse, unimpressive backspin, and a feel that might be slightly too rigid for some players might cause a few issues with your overall satisfaction.

This blade is better for amateurs improving the European play technique for mid-lengths and professionals who want to be skillful in aggressive play. However, complete novices with no prior experience and knowledge in table tennis might find it a bit hard to use.

STIGA has spent a lot of time designing and functioning this paddle, and we’re happy they did. Not everyone wants to mess with the constant gluing required of custom paddles, but they still wish for a pre-made one with the same performance.

They can find it in STIGA Pro Carbon. Despite having its fair share of flaws, the design promises intuitive performance for the right player. Plus the fact that it’s unbelievably affordable, there is no such thing as buyer’s remorse with the Pro Carbon from STIGA.
